University of California Curriculum Integration Institute

The University of California Curriculum Integration (UCCI) Institute is seeking talented and motivated high school teachers and administrators from across California to participate in a professional development institute to be held May 1-4, 2011 at the Lake Arrowhead Resort. The primary goal of the institute is to develop innovative courses that integrate Career Technical Education (CTE) with "a-g" curriculum for adoption by high schools statewide.

The Spring 2011 Institute will focus on subject areas "c” - Mathematics and "d” - Laboratory Science, in conjunction with the following CTE industry sectors:
  • Engineering and Design
  • Finance and Business
  • Hospitality, Tourism, and Recreation
Costs associated with attendance, with the exception of transportation, will be covered by the University of California with support from the California Department of Education.  Detailed information and applications are available at: http://www.ucop.edu/ucci.
