Roughly 15 unique SAGE students, along with others from A World Fit for Kids and the MultiMedia Academy, were selected to attend this very enlightening event. This was the fourth annual City of Los Angeles Technology & Education Summit.
The purpose of the Future Leaders Summit is to promote high school students' interest in higher education and careers in the field of information technology.
Among the exciting activities were tour exhibits of technology vehicles such as the L.A. Fire Command Center Vehicle; LAPD Bomb Squad Rover Vehicle; and the Tesla Vehicle. Plus, they got to hear exciting people such as City Councilwoman Jan Perry, Randi Levin, and Sarah Nickerson.
