Today was our second middle school recruitment fair. Parents and prospective students toured Belmont and got a feel for the facilities and CTE program of all three Academies. SAGE shined in Mr. Depew's Intro to Engineering Design class where students explored with tech gadgets and asked questions about our Engineering Pathway. Then, they traveled to Mr. Camacho's state-of-the-art Auto Tech shop for a show and tell of student-led work. Our next and final recruitment fair will take place this Thursday Mar 4 at Virgil MS from 5PM-7PM. A big shout out to Ms. Galang, Twomey, Ballon, & Bustos; Mr. Depew, Camacho (and his awesome wife for the cake and coffee!), Sy, Crews, Mendoza, Sosa, & Valdez for their attendance and assistance.
