Last week's ACE meeting was at the Los Angeles School of Global Studies located inside the Miguel Contreras Learning Complex. Students initiated their long-term project by brainstorming the location, purpose of the site, and the population it would serve. As a group, L.A.s ACE students (Belmont, MC, Roybal, and Camino Nuevo) agreed to construct a state of the art site that would serve as a community center, which will allow space for learning through speakers, art exhibits, and cultural events. More on this project as the students gather up steem.
